The name La Jaune Schreibmaschine is a tribute to the yellow 1960s Adler Tippa S typewriter I used when I first started writing multilingual poetry. Typing on it has always been a unique, almost transcendental experience—its mechanical rhythm turns every writing session into a ritual of sound and deep focus, where languages, ideas and memories intertwine in a singular creative mix.

I was born in Argentina but had to move to Italy when I was eight. Learning a new language wasn’t exactly a choice at first, but over time, I realized I actually enjoyed it.

That initial sparkle and curiosity led me to become a researcher in Linguistics and AI, as well as a multilingual poet and spoken word artist.

I also have a passion for mixed arts, traveling, and exploring different cultures. I love meeting new people and discovering how language connects us in unexpected ways.

Bio

I'm a young experimental poet with multicultural roots and a passion for languages. I started writing multilingual poems almost eight years ago as a form of practice for my polyglot knowledge - nurtured during different family pilgrimages around the globe - and a challenge for my compositional writing skills. Over time, it has also become a way to celebrate my diverse heritage and invite people to reflect on linguistic diversity, as well as to connect with others who share similar experiences.

I enjoy weaving different languages into unique poetic compositions. It feels like the most natural way to express myself—without having to suppress any part of who I am. Each language speaks to me in its own way, making certain ideas feel more authentic or meaningful when expressed in one language rather than another.
